COURSE AIM
The 3-Day Torch-on Felt course aims to teach those with little or no experience in flat roofing how to use torch-on felt roofing products safely and effectively. All training is workshop-based, and you will receive expert guidance and tuition on installing a full system. We supply all tooling and gas throughout your training. You will start on the bench models and then move on to our floor models.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for delegates with roofing/construction experience who are looking to expand their knowledge into torch-on felt products.
COURSE OVERVIEW
- Installing field areas
- Installing to upstands
- Installing to internal and external corners
- Installing to drips
- Installing to gulleys and outlets
- Installing pipe details
- Obtaining the correct bleed
- Setting up a torch safely, including flashback arrestor
- You will install VCLs, Underlays and Cap sheets

3 days – 8:45 am – 3:30 pm (approx.)
Lunch and refreshments will be provided during this course.
AcCREDITATION
Upon completing the full course, we will issue an In-house certificate, which can be used as evidence towards an NVQ.
