Course Aim
The course focuses on the basic principles of pitch roofing.
Who Should Attend The 4 Day Pitched Roofing Course?
This course is ideal for those who are new to roofing and are looking for the basic skills and knowledge needed to go on to become a competent roofer. It will also be of interest to those who already work within the roofing industry such as flat roofers. As a roofing specialist training center, we have an array of roofing models and complete roofing tool sets for you to use. Delegates must be familiar with using a disc cutter – we do not provide this training within the 4 day course. This is 95% hands-on vocational training with short periods of time spent in the classroom.

- Install Underlays
- Battening & Gauging
- Variable gauge tiles to include Plain tiles
- Slating (artificial)
- Valleys, Hips & Verges
- Ridge Work – Dry and Wet
- Lead Work to include step flashings
- Dry systems
- Roofing components

£650 + VAT Per Person
Includes an in-house certificate which can be used as evidence towards a NVQ Level 2 in Roof Tiling & Slating.
