3-DAY TORCH ON FELT UPSKILLING TRAINING
If you want to learn how to install Built-Up Bituminous Roofing, we offer a 3-day course. All training is workshop-based and you will receive expert guidance and tuition on installing a full system.

TIME: 09.00 AM – 3.45 PM

From our training centre which is just outside Ipswich – IP6 8JP
WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?
- Installing field areas
- Installing to upstands
- Installing to internal and external corners
- Installing to drips
- Installing to gulleys and outlets
- Installing pipe details
- Obtaining the correct bleed
- Setting up a torch safely including flashback arrestor
- You will install VCLs, Underlays and Cap sheets
CERTIFICATION
Upon completing the full course, we will issue an In-house certificate which can be used as evidence towards an NVQ.

We supply all tooling and gas throughout your training. You will start on the bench models and then move on to our floor models.
Teas/Coffee is available throughout the day, but you must provide your own lunch.
