COURSE AIM

The 3-Day Bricklaying course has been designed to provide bricklaying skills to beginners/novices who would like to build basic walls, brick piers, brick planters, repair brickwork and brick-built barbeques, etc. This course may also be of interest to roofers who want to learn how to rebuild chimneys or gable ends. The course will include all stages of bricklaying, from mixing the mortar to setting out.

Who should attend?

No previous experience is required to enrol on this course.

COURSE OVERVIEW

• Setting out
• Brick walls and brick piers
• Brick planters
• Chimneys & flaunching (if required)
• Cutting and bedding gable end bricks to a rake (if required)
• Pointing brickwork

Duration

4 days – 8:45am – 3:45pm (approx.)

Lunch and refreshments will be provided during this course.

ACCREDITATION

At the end of your training, you will be presented with an in-house certificate.
