Influencers have a go at Roofing

We were delighted to host Steve & Issy from Suffolk County Council and Lesley from ActiveLives last week so that they could spend the day in the shoes, or should we say safety boots of a roofing apprentice! This scheme, which is funded by CITB, is designed to give ‘influencers’ the opportunity to gain a better understanding of careers in construction, so that they can pass this information on young adults considering a career in construction.

Steve, Issy & Lesley all had the opportunity to install tiles & slates on our pitched roofing training rigs, whilst also trying their hand at some lead work under the guidance of our pitched roofing apprenticeship tutor.

Its fair to say that they were naturals!
