Eastern Roof Training Host Skill Build Heat

On the 5th June, Eastern Roof Training hosted the CITB Skill Build Heat held in the East of England.

This years competitors from Eastern Roof Training were Harrison Netzel from Scofield & Lait Roofing and Phil Houghton & Tyler Pedrick from Avonside Roofing (Braintree). Each of the apprentices performed excellently and were a credit to their respective contractors and to us as a Roofing College.

Skill Build 2019 Final is going to be held from Birmingham’s NEC again this year for the largest UK multi-trade competition for construction trainees and apprentices. Forming part of WorldSkills, SkillBuild is the largest multi-trade competition in the UK for construction trainees and apprentices, allowing them to compete in their chosen field, from roof slating to carpentry, stonemasonry to plastering.
