Eastern Roof Training graded ‘Outstanding’

Eastern Region Roof Training Group have been graded ‘outstanding’ by West Suffolk College in a recent Apprenticeship Audit.

All of our apprenticeship courses are delivered in partnership with West Suffolk College so to receive this acknowledgement from them is something we are extremely proud of. The evidence based audit covers many aspects of our apprenticeship delivery to include:

• Overall effectiveness
• Effectiveness of Leadership and Management
• Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment
• Personal development, behavior, and welfare of learners
• Outcomes for learners

Our Apprenticeship programmes have gone from strength to strength in the past few years and we now have over 35 Roofing Apprentices coming into our centre each week to learn their trade. Not only have we recently moved into a larger training centre to accommodate a larger amount of apprentices, but we have also started delivering our first ever Built up Bituminous Apprenticeship.

We are also now in the process of recruiting for a 2 Year (day release) Sheeting & Cladding Apprenticeship for the first time. CITB grants of £6000.00 apply per apprentice, subject to CITB terms and conditions.
