Eastern Roof Training attend Northgate High School Careers Event

On the 28th of March, Northgate High School, located in Ipswich, held a careers event for students aged between 14-16. The event gave students considering their future after leaving school the opportunity to speak to employers, universities and apprenticeship providers such as ourselves so that they were able to decide the route that suits them best once they leave.

After recently hosting 8 Northgate students at our training centre for a day of Roofing, we were delighted to be invited by Northgate High School to attend the event and promote a career in Roofing, something we are extremely passionate about.

We hope that by continuing to attend these events and raising awareness of careers in roofing that we will encourage the next generation of Roofer to come through and help address the skills shortage our industry is facing.
