Apprentice Celebration Event Proves a Huge Success

On the 8th March 2018, we hosted our annual Celebration Event from our Roof Training Centre located in Ipswich.

The event proved to be a fantastic success with over 40 over our apprentices joining us, along with special guests including the Mayor of Ipswich, Sandy Martin, our local MP and companies such as Ridgeons, Leister and Redland.

After some inspirational speeches, including Gavin Metson’s last years Apprentice of The Year Winner, the much coveted Apprentice of The Year Awards were handed out. We were delighted to award Joe Burgess, of Waveney District Council the Eastern Roof Training Group, Apprentice of The Year Award, with Carl Collen of Lodge Roofing picking up 2nd place and Tobias Lockhart of Scofield & Lait Roofing taking third place.

Finally we’d just like to say thank you to all the Roofing Contractors that attended the event and supported their apprentices. We’d also like to thank Ridgeons, Redland and Axter for giving out gifts to our apprentices throughout the day.
