Level 2 Slate & Tile Apprenticeship (standard)

Roof Tile and Slate Level 2 Apprenticeship (Standard):

Next enrolment date: January 2021

This qualification comprises of the Level 2 standard and if required Functional Skills in maths and English up to level 2. The subject areas covered are as follows:-

• Health & Safety Training
• How Roofing fits into Construction
• Roofing core knowledge
• Roofing core skills
• Roofing core behaviours

• We offer a pick-up service from Needham Market Train Station and have on-site car parking.

At the end of the 18 month training, apprentices will be assessed by an independent assessor who will visit site and conduct a professional discussion with the apprentice. There will also be a test at the end, a bit like the Touchscreen test for the CSCS card.

The duration is 1 day per week over 18months and is based at our training centre in Ipswich. Subject to terms and conditions, grants are available for ConstructionSkills (formerly CITB) levy payers. There are also government schemes available and levy transfer routes if you are based in the Suffolk or Norfolk area.

Progression: Level 3 Roof Slating & Tiling Apprenticeship.
